A lot of martial art teachers out there are not aware of a critical DIFFERENCE between children and adults: Children have more SENSITIVE joints and connective tissues. When trained the very same techniques as adults, kids performing punches and kicks tend to hyper-extend their elbows and knees.

In our school, we pay close attention to prepare your child to AVOID these dangerous outcomes. For the same reason, you won’t see any chokes, armbars or foot twists (why would you want to see those, anyway?). In our programs, the training units are based on repeating routines under the eye of the constantly observing teacher. The students have to permanently pay attention to their own movement patterns as well as on group activities.
