If You Can Click A Mouse - You Can Develop Your Kid's Social Skills!

Is your child’s attention constantly switching - between the TV, the PC/Mac, tablet device, and smartphone? Spending hours and hours in front of the screen without human interaction? You already ask yourself if you are bringing up a little nerd lacking any social skills? (hint: Your child’s behavior is totally normal and we probably would have acted the same way)

Welcome to the club. You are not alone. And it is NOT your FAULT. Until now, you just didn’t have the right solution - but here it is!

Martial arts is a perfect way for your child to engage in a group activity! In our classes, the kids first discover a very viable SOCIAL SKILL for the real world: RESPECT. For the seniors and instructors, for the other children, and - ultimately important - for THEMSELVES.

The kids are also asked to TEACH the other students what they have learned. This requires them to process new information, communicate clearly, and to have empathy for their counterparts.

Besides all these important social skills, martial arts classes give children something that is way more important to them (so they CANNOT WAIT to put down their electronic devices for the next couple hours): Having a bunch of FUN with OTHER KIDS!

With Our Kids Martial Arts classes, Your Child Becomes More Proactive While Staying Active And Alert Throughout The Day!

Less than one-quarter of children 6 to 17 years of age participate in 60 minutes of physical activity every day. And this is very little because children and adolescents aged between 6 through 17 years should engage in 60 minutes (1 hour) or more of moderate-to-vigorous physical activity daily, according to the US Department of Health and Human Services exercise guidelines. Our Kids Martial Arts classes help your child to achieve this minimum threshold of staying active and fit. Moreover, Kids Martial Arts improves fitness, stamina and flexibility. In addition to this, Kids Martial Arts has plenty of health benefits!

Do You Sincerely Want To Strengthen Your Kid's Self-Confidence?

What is the best way to strengthen your children’s self-confidence? Common advice is to integrate the child into a sports TEAM. And the truth is that many members of sports teams have good self-confidence.

Here’s why this advice DOESN’T WORK:

Getting your child into a sports team can actually be a major DISSERVICE to his self-confidence.

But How?

It’s because the majority of these children already were confident BEFORE entering the team! Playing in a sports team can even SLOW down your child’s development of self-confidence: When they see themselves playing with less courage COMPARED to the other kids - which again comes from low self-confidence, right?

Whereas in Taekwondo, kids have a proven path on which they only COMPETE AGAINST THEMSELVES. They gain self-confidence by MASTERING new moves and reaching new belt levels. But be aware: You will have to buy some new belts for your kid that’s now bursting with confidence!

We Focus 100% On Safety

The fact that a martial arts teacher has a BLACK BELT in the Nth Degree does not tell ANYTHING about his ability to teach your child properly.

Why?

A lot of martial art teachers out there are not aware of a critical DIFFERENCE between children and adults: Children have more SENSITIVE joints and connective tissues. When trained the very same techniques as adults, kids performing punches and kicks tend to hyper-extend their elbows and knees.

In our school, we pay close attention to prepare your child to AVOID these dangerous outcomes. For the same reason, you won’t see any chokes, armbars or foot twists (why would you want to see those, anyway?). On top of that, we have all our students wear PROTECTIVE gear so you can watch your child punching and kicking - in maximum safety!

How To Pay Less For Private Classes While You Get Better Grades For Your Child

In our programs, the training units are based on repeating routines under the eye of the constantly observing teacher. The students have to permanently pay attention to their own movement patterns as well as on group activities. This “Forced Focus” typically leads to a state of flow, where your kid is NOT DISTRACTED by any thoughts.

Although their bodies are moving fast, now INSIDE their minds the children become CALM and peaceful. Wait for a second, you can feel this relief, too? Wow. It’s kinda like a remote control for your little one to turn off the noise in his head.

Over time, Taekwondo routines gradually improve your child’s IMPULSE-CONTROL and ability to FOCUS, two invaluable skills to have in a modern stress-driven world. Countless studies have shown that kids with these skills live more in the present moment and can FINISH the ONE task in front of them. Oh, yeah, and they get BETTER GRADES in school, so you can stop spending money on your kid’s private tutor!
